Naoise Stewart-Kelly

Bio

Naoise Stuart - Kelly trained at the Royal Academy of Music, London, graduating with a higher diploma in Musical Theatre Performance, having previously spent several years training in classical singing with Dr. Veronica Dunne in Dublin.

Whilst at The Royal Academy, Naoise won the prestigous Ronald (David) White Cup from the musical directors of “Les Miserables”.  She has won many other awards for singing, acting and interpretation including Thomas Moore Singer of the Year awarded by RTE television Ireland.  Naoise’s versatile voice ensures she is kept busy with concerts, recording work, theatre and corporate entertainment.

Concerts: 
Live Concert Recordings include “Voice of Hope” with Tommy Fleming (PBS TV, DVD 2005), “An Enchanted Evening” at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, London with Dame Judi Dench and Leslie Garrett (BBC TV, DVD 2003) and the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Classical Concert from Buckingham Palace (BBC TV).  Other concerts include “Mr. Gilbert and Mr. Sullivan”, “Another Opening, Another Show” and “Christmas Crackers”, all at the National Concert Hall, Dublin, “Mad About Music” at the Helix, “Old Fashioned Girls” (Irish tour) and “Normandy Nights Cabaret” on board the MV Normany to France.

Theatre:
“Songs For a New World” (Dublin), “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change” (Dublin & Irish tour), Sue in “A Slice of Saturday Night” (Dublin & London), Cheshire Cat in “Alice -the Musical” (Armagh and Dublin), Yum-Yum in “The Hot Mikado”, Mabel in “Pirates of Penzance”, Red Riding Hood in Sondheim’s “Into the Woods”, Yum-Yum in “The Mikado”, Sr. Magaretta in “The Sound of Music” and Butterfly’s Cousin in “Madama Butterfly”.

Tours:
“Riverdance” lead vocalist – Europe, Asia, Mexico and Dublin.  “The Three Irish Tenors” – USA and Canada 2005 & 2006

Recording:
Workshop recordings for the new Irish musical “The Pirate Queen” with renowned Claude Michel Schonberg (writer of “Les Miserables”), cast recording of “The Ha’penny Bridge” musical for Kassan Productions, self titled Irish Album “Naoise”.

Television:

Naoise is currently developing material for her new album, performing with Normandy Nights, and working on a new show "Satin Dolls".
