Bio
From entertaining foreign dignitaries and high profile corporate events to fully staged theatre shows, Tara Novak brings her dynamic presence and unique violin talent to every performance. Tara trained classically with the international concert violinist Benny Kim, then studied jazz at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, finally honing her fiddling skills in Ireland.
Tara Novak Performance styles range from background music for cocktail receptions and dinners, in which Tara plays selections from a broad range of music including jazz, pop, irish, and classical, to a high impact choreographed set including music from trad to rock.
Tara performs on both an acoustic violin made in Chicago in 1998 and a custom-made 5 string metallic blue electric violin, using a wireless mic on both instruments to allow her to mingle with the audience.
From a classic sound to a rock edge, Tara Novak can bring the impact needed to any event to ensure it is a memorable one.
